Discipleship

LOVE ONE ANOTHER
What we care about. Jesus says, "Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
Here at Centerpoint we are changing what we care about, each other. Caring out the command of Jesus to love, care, and help one another.

BE TRANSFORMED
Centering on change. The Apostle Paul's description of this process, that the disciple "not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect." We are CENTERING our minds on a fresh start. Allowing God to change the way we think, we are putting Jesus in the CENTER of everything we do.

THE GREAT COMMISSION
Making new disciples. In Matthew, at the beginning of Jesus' ministry, He says to His earliest disciples, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men" Then, at the very end of his ministry Jesus gives the Great Commission, commanding all present to "GO therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you."  Jesus has incorporated this practice into the very definition of being a disciple and experiencing discipleship.
Centerpoint will GO and make disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples....

At Centerpoint we want to extend our hands. We want you to feel this is the place you can start fresh, a place to grow. Somewhere you clear your mind and allow God to work through you, making Him the CENTER of your life.

Whether our discipleship is on Sundays or our group meetings, we will GROW together.
